The Courtland turquoise mining district is the only location in Arizona open to turquoise digging and is one of the very few turquoise locations that offers world class gemstones that require no stabilization or coloring.

95% of turquoise on the market requires treatment, whereas Courtland turquoise is all natural that can take a polish as the turquoise hardness is of gem grade quality.

Courtland turquoise colors range from sage greens and robin's egg blue, to electrifying deep sky blues. There can be some matrixing, but many pieces are pure in color, very similar to Sleeping Beauty turquoise.

In the tour, you will learn about native american and pioneer turquoise mining history, enjoy beautiful southern Arizona crisp fresh air, and stunning mountain views of the desert Southwest.
